Looking for a material that feels natural, sits firmly in your hand, and shows your design clearly? Then cactus faux leather labels are a great fit for your project. This plant-based alternative works perfectly for labels with text, logos, or designs. The fine grain softly diffuses light and gives the label a matte look that stays clean and never turns glossy, even with heavy use. If you’ve used our artificial leather before, you’ll notice that cactus faux leather feels slightly thicker and more durable. That makes a real difference when you order labels with holes and want to sew them on by hand.
In our design tool, you adjust every detail with precision — from subtle branding for handmade knits to a bold logo patch for outdoor bags. Choose shape, size, and optional holes for attachment. Then add text, a design, or your logo and fine-tune everything directly in the live preview.

Two finishing options for your design:
Our synthetic cactus leather labels are abrasion-resistant and machine washable up to 40° C. This plant-based leather alternative is made from cactus leaves grown in arid regions with minimal water requirements — no additional irrigation needed. The mature leaves of the prickly pear cactus are carefully harvested, cleaned, and naturally dried in the sun. The cactus plant remains intact during harvesting, allowing new leaves to grow repeatedly from the same plant. Other parts of the cactus are repurposed for food production, making this a highly sustainable material. A single cactus plant can be used for up to eight years in cactus faux leather production. Additionally, cacti act as natural carbon sinks, improving soil health in their native growing areas. The drying process is entirely solar-powered, requiring no extra energy.
The back of your cactus faux leather labels is a soft cream color, and the material has a thickness of approximately 1.1 mm.
Our cactus faux leather has been tested and certified by the Bremer Environmental Institute for relevant harmful substances and suitability for use in children’s toys according to DIN EN 71-3. More details about our certifications can be found here.

For easy positioning before sewing, we recommend using a fabric fixation pen. Additional accessories for your cactus faux leather labels can be found in our label and signage accessories section, or you can add them directly in the configurator.
