They personally designed a building that perfectly meets the needs of DORTEX, its employees, and the two generations leading the company. This dream has become a reality, blending innovation with tradition.

All DORTEX products are proudly "Made in Germany". Short supply chains and efficient decision-making processes not only save time but also reduce our environmental footprint. Despite higher labor costs, we remain competitive with manufacturers in low-wage countries — without compromising on quality or customer service. Our technical expertise allows us to automate processes from order to delivery, keeping production costs in check. With a strong commitment to continuous investment, we ensure that our technology and production methods remain cutting-edge. This not only guarantees consistent product quality but also supports our ultimate goal: achieving a CO2-free production facility in Dortmund.

Sustainable Energy

Our company building is designed for the future, featuring a geothermal energy system that provides efficient and eco-friendly heating and cooling. Using green electricity across all areas of our business is a given for us. We are also gradually transitioning our company fleet to non-fossil energy sources. To support sustainable commuting for our employees, we have expanded our bicycle parking facilities, making it easier for our team to choose environmentally friendly transportation.
